On Tower Hill Memorial is the name of Chief Officer Arthur Parry, serving on S.S. Tunisia (Swansea) with the Merchant Navy who died 04/08/1941.

In Tynemouth (Preston) Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

In loving remembrance of
our dear mother
Ann Elizabeth Parry
1858-1945

also Joseph her husband
1859-1924

and Arthur, their son
1904-1941
lost at sea through enemy action.

He was the son of Joseph and Ann Elizabeth Parry and the husband of Christian Parry, of North Shields.

Arthur Parry is remembered in our List of Ships’ Crews.
