In Harton Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/7061 Leading Seaman Alexander Graham, serving on H.M.S. Satellite with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 29/10/1918.

The son of John and Mary Graham and the husband of Minnie Torr (formerly Graham), of 143, Stevenson Street. South Shields. He was born at South Shields.

He died of pneumonia.

Alexander Graham is remembered at Cleadon on C79.02,  at South Shields on S86.027, S86.043 and in S86.086 page 6 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
