Memorial Description:

Trophy Stand, 18 inches (17cm minimum and 27cm maximum) diameter.

The lettering is incised on a metal strip attached to the side of the stand, using serif capitals.

The names are given in two long lines, five names per line.

Notes:

1. The stand was given to A.D. Walton in 1982 by Sam Starkey of 65 Benwell Grange, and passed to Tyne & Wear Museums in 1982.

2. Original trophy which stood on top is missing.
