Triptych.
The central frame is 26 inches high x 22 inches wide (559mm x 660mm).
It is surmounted by a carving of grapes and vines on either side of a roundel containing a figure (Christ? St. Paul?).
When closed, the outer door frames bear the letters “Alpha” and “Omega” (“The first and the last”) in raised and gilded circles.
Below it, the frame has the words “Dying, behold we live” sited above a rounded shelf at the bottom.
The opened doors, each 26 inches high x 10.5 inches wide (660mm x 266mm) bear a sunken panel with a gilded border. These panels have a roundel at centre top containing an angel and the date on either side. The names are listed in two columns on each panel.
The central rear panel has a wide border of entwined leaves, culminating in the badge in each corner of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. The names are listed in four columns.
At the foot of each is a decoration on either side of the English flag.
