To the Glory of God and in memory of
the men from this Church and Parish,
who gave their lives in the Great War
1914-1919.
This Window and Tablets were erected by
Arthur Edwin Welton
(who entered into rest 1st June 1919).

Memorial Description:

Stained glass window of two lights depicting Christ and St. George.

There is a shield which bears the words “my Grace is sufficient for thee”.

Below the window is a brass plaque with a knotted string border.

This carries the dedication in elaborate lettering.

There are two plaques, 42 inches high x 36 inches wide (1.7M x 910mm), one on each side of the window.

The names are listed on these in two columns, incised and coloured black, using sans serif capitals.
