Memorial Description:

Stained glass lancet window of single light, depicting David and Jonathan.

At top is a shepherd’s crook with the name “David”.

At centre David and Jonathan are depicted, with Jonathan’s arm on David’s shoulder and the words “The Lord be between thee and me” on a scroll above.

Below them is another scroll with the word “Friendship”.

Below this again is a crown with the name “Jonathan”.

At the bottom are the dates “1939-1945”.

The names are listed in a single column on a wooden plaque made to fit the tapering sloping sill.

It measures 24 inches high x 18 inches wide tapering to 36 inches wide (61cms x 46cms x 91cms).

Lettering is in Roman capitals.
