Notes:

1. St. Thomas’ closed May 1st 1997 and was later converted for residential use.

2. In The Parish Magazine for December 1942 the Vicar writes:-
A Second “Roll of Honour”

As many know there is hung in the Church above the “Soldiers Table” an illuminated Roll of Honour containing the names of all the Craghead men who were killed in the Great War of 1914 to 1818 (sic) – list which corresponds to the list of names on the Cenotaph.

As now unfortunately, a list of new casualties must be made the Vicar will be much obliged if there is sent to him the exact, name, rank etc of any whose death is caused by the present war. He would also like to have similar information about any missing or Prisoners of war so that later on a correct list may be available for Commemoration purposes. In that way the difficulty experience when the Cenotaph was erected will not occur.

3. Roll of Honour 1914 -18 based on C120.04 but the names of  Edward Simpson and James W. Ward are not included.

4. Roll of Honour 1939-45 – compared with C120.01 the names of R. Gordon, Robert Keers, Richard Richardson, Vincent Parker and John Mervyn Dennis are not on the Memorial. Two names R.W. Cummings and R. Gardner on C120.01 are not include in this list.
