Memorial Description:

Roll of Honour behind glass.

From a poor press photo, it seems to have been designed to represent a Greek temple with the names down the centre.

Notes:

1. There was a smaller plaque which bore the words:
“For honour, liberty and truth
they sacrificed their glorious youth.
They died, if it be death to give
Their lives that all their friends might live”.

2. Despite repeated enquiries concerning this Memorial, the Tyne Dock authorities have no idea of its whereabouts. Presumed Lost.
