Plaque, formed into three panels by pilasters which arch over at the top with tracery, each having a pointed top.

At the top of each panel is a badge or crest carved in half relief.

The names are incised in plain letters.

This is a family memorial to the Wilsons, but at the foot of the middle column there is a large crown carved in half relief.

Beneath this is the name of a man who died at sea.

To the glory of God / and in memory of / Thomas Wilson Esq., born Feb. 16th 1800 / died at Shotley Hall / April 22nd 1880. / This chancel is decorated AD 1903
Hugh Wilson / Walton-Wilson / born April 1st 1869 / died at Shotley Hall / March 1st 1921.

The left hand panel reads:
Lucy, wife of /J.W. Walton-Wilson /born Oct. 3rd 1840 / died at / Simonburn Rectory / Nov. 7th 1901 / the result of an accident. /
Katherine Mary / Beatrice Ross-Lewin / their daughter / born Feb. 24th 1866 / died in London / Oct. 27th 1927.

The right hand panel reads
John Wilson / Walton-Wilson / born July 19th 1823 / died at Shotley Hall / April 14th 1910./
Christopher / Thomas his son / born Feb. 19th 1879 / died at Shotley Hall / July 7th 1909.
Anne Cecilia / Elfcyva / Walton Wilson / Born May 18th 1875 / died at Walton / North Wales / Nov. 7th 1955.
