Plaque 12 inches high x 24 inches wide (30cms x 61cms) mounted on a black metal pattress which is one inch wider. (2.5cms)

The Royal Irish Rifles Regimental badge appears in the top left hand corner.

The lettering is in black Roman capitals with red initials.

The quotation is in sans serif capitals.
