of Eastfield Hall in this Parish
Born May 24th 1887. Died April 26th 1915
He landed with the 29th Division at Gallipoli
April 25th, fell mortally wounded April 26th
and died the same day on board the Hospital
Ship “Guildford Castle ” and was buried at sea
“Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori”

Plaque 12 inches high x 24 inches wide (30cms x 61cms) mounted on a black metal pattress which is one inch wider.(2.5cms)

The K.O.S.B. Regimental badge appears in the top left hand corner.

The lettering is in black Roman with red initials.

The quotation is in sans serif capitals.
