Unveiled December 1920 by Lieut.Col. Spence, D.S.O.
Dedicated by Rev. James Andrews, M.C., Hon. C.F., Minister of the Church.

Brass plaque on oak frame.

On main plaque:
1914 They died for us 1919

On small plaque below:
The above were connected
with this church and the
1st Stockton Company of
the Boys’ Brigade.

Plaque of classical design with a rounded pillar up each side and a pediment.

In the gable top is the seated figure of Britannia raised in half relief.

Below this, the words “They died for us” with the dates on each side are carved and gilded.

In the main area a brass plaque 24 inches high x 18 inches wide (61cms x 46cms) has been fixed.

It has a single line border.

The names are listed in a single column using sans serif capitals.

There is a brass plaque  1½ inches high x 3 inches wide (4cms x 8cms) at the bottom giving further details.
