This Memorial Brass and Union Jack are the gifts of
Edward and Barbara Newton of Thriston (sic) House, who enshrine
with these other brave men, the name of their gallant nephew
George Dixon, M.I.M.E.

Memorial Description:

Plaque in plain marble surround 41 inches high x 26 inches wide (104cms x 66cms).

The names are listed in two columns.

Lettering is in Roman upper and lower case, in black with red initials.

The details of the erection of the plaque are given in italics at the bottom.

Names:

36 full names, the first five also carrying rank and regiment.
