Memorial Description:

Plaque 25 inches high by 16½ inches wide (64cms x 42cms), with very simple fluted edging.

The dedication is in Roman capitals.

The names are listed in two columns, using sans serif capitals.

Notes:

1.This was originally the Blyth Secondary School, changed in 1946 to Blyth Grammar School and in 1974 to Blyth Tynedale High School on a different site. The old Grammar School became Delaval Secondary, then Middle School.

2. In 2000 following the amalgamation of Tynedale High School and Ridley High School the school became Blyth Community College . In 2008 it changed its name to The Blyth School, Community College, Chase Farm Drive.
