To the imperishable memory of those
who fell and in honour of all others connected with this club
who served their King and Country in the Great War 1914-1919.
Plaque 27 inches high x 54 inches wide (69cms x 137cms).
There is a patterned border culminating in a shell pattern in the two top corners and in stylized flowers in the bottom two corners.
The two top corners inside the border are rounded and the spandrels are filled with red.
The names of the fallen are listed in eight columns at the top inside a black border.
Those who served are listed are listed in 11 columns.
The dedication is in Roman capitals, the names are in sans serif capitals.
There is some red lettering.
39 surnames and initials of the fallen
261 surnames and initials of those who served.

1. From the club, from 1,400 members, 300 had served. There were 300 more who served, but their names are not on the memorial because they were not old enough to be members according to rule. They would become members when they arrived back.

02/06/1922 reports unveiling;
