Memorial Description:

Plaque of polished brass.

The four corners are elaborate.  They are cut to contain a circle with the “IHS” symbol on two corners on a red background in opposite corners with another symbol in the other two corners.

The dedication is in red lower case Roman lettering.

The names are listed in three columns using black Roman case lettering.

Notes:

1. The plaque was the result of a year long project by members of St Aloysius’s R.C. Church who researched the war dead from the parish and neighbouring St James’s R.C. Church.
