Dedicated by Rev. W.R. Fairclough, Vicar of South Charlton.

Made by T. Martin and Co., Cheltenham.
Mounted by Messrs. T. Watson of Alnwick.

Inscription:

In memory of the Old Boys of this School
who fell in the Great War 1914-1918

Their name liveth for evermore.

Memorial Description:

Plaque, 24 inche high x 48 inches wide (608 mm x 1210 mm).

There is a narrow border with Tudor roses at intervals.

At the top is the school badge (the Percy crescent enclosing two lockets, raised and gilded on a red and blue background) illuminated in heraldic colours, and circled by a wreath of laurel and oak leaves.

The names are in five columns, using raised Roman capitals throughout.

At the bottom the words “Their name liveth for evermore” are raised in half relief on a cast ribbon.
