Plaque.
There is a wide frame with an enamelled roundel containing a symbol at the centre of top, bottom and both sides.
A brass panel at the top gives the dedication for 1914-18 in black sans serif capitals.
The names are in a single column, with those from 1939-45 following in sequence.
Lettering is incised gilded sans serif capitals.

1. The photograph in the Unveiling Summons indicates that after the Second World War the memorial was remade. The Names on the memorial in the Summons’ photograph are offset and are now in a straight line. The flags are different and there is no square and compass on the lower ledge.
2. There is a second brass plaque which reads
And to the abiding honour of the 110 brethren who served in H.M. Forces.
3. The Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro. The Right Honourable The Lord Ravensworth, D.L. P.G.W. should have unveiled the memorial but was unable to attend.
4. The Burdon Road building was sold in 2006 but the Masons continue to use this part of the building.
