Memorial Description:

Plaque on wood pattress 31 inches high x 22 inches wide (80cms x 55cms).

There is a border of interlocking “battlement” lines culminating in each corner with a leaf design.

The names are listed in two columns divided by a vertical line.

The lettering is sunk in casting and coloured black.

The words “To the Glory of God” and the quotation are in Gothic script.

The dedication is in elongated Roman capitals and the names are in sans serif capitals.

Below this is a plain smaller brass plate for 1939-45 on a wood pattress, on which the dates are in Roman letters and the name in sans serif capitals.
