Lord of mercy and of love
we remember before Thee
the men of this parish
who fell in the Great Crusade
1914-1919.

Right hand panel
†
They shall not grow old as
we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them nor
the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
we will remember them.

Panels on either side of the organ, three to the left, and three to the right.

The panels have carved tracery at the top.

The names are listed on the four inner panels, in a single column on each, with the dedication prayer on the extreme left panel, and the quotation on the extreme right.

All lettering is black Roman, with red initials.

1. The memorial was to include “embellishment of the organ front by the addition of decorative silvered pipes”.
