Memorial Description:

Organ, with 9 wood panels along one side facing the nave..

A brass plaque 9 inches high x 8 inches wide (23cms x 20cms), on the central panel, bears the dedication.

There is a brass floriate cross on a shelf attached to the panelling.

Panels 2 and 4 each have six individual brass plaques, 2¾ inches high x 4 inches wide ( 7cms x 10cms), bearing one name.

The plaque for McBean is 2¾ inches high x 4½ inches wide (7cms x 11cms)

.Panels 1 and 5 each have four similar plaques but these are for parishioners.

Notes:

1. Modernised organ originally built by Connacher of Huddersfield about 1900. This is on the NPOR as No. D03463. It was originally in the Bruce Hall, Franciscan Road, Tooting, Surrey. It was moved to St.Cuthbert’s, Durham, in 1946 by Harrison and Harrison.
