Killed on active service 1st Sept. 1940
Aged 26 years

Memorial Description:

Lectern, 48 inches high x 18 inches wide (1210 mm x 457 mm).

On one side is the badge in full colour of Edinburgh University.

On the other is the Duke’s School badge in full colour.

The dedication is carried on the front, incised in Roman upper and lower case lettering and painted white.

The carved mouse of the maker appears near the bottom at the front.
