Memorial Description:

Small Park, grassed, with flowers in the borders.

There are two black wooden seats with no markings set on a central paved area.

On a red brick wall adjoining the park is a painted portrait of Dennis Donnini V.C.

Underneath are the words “Local hero / Dennis Donnini V.C.”

To the left is a painting of the Victoria Cross; to the right is a painting of Donnini’s Commonwealth War Grave headstone.

Near it is a plaque 12½ inches square (32cms) which bears the dedication and a copy of the photograph of Donnini with the V.C. Badge.

A rose bush has been planted.

Beside it is a plaque 5¾ inches high x 6¾ inches wide (15cms x 17cms),  on which the lettering has been inscribed using italic sans serif lettering.
