Memorial Description:

Cross of Latin type, large and slim, on a tapering pedestal on a stone coursed base.

The whole sits in a semi-circular raised platform with five steps leading up to it.

It is surrounded by grass, paths, bushes, etc.

On each of the four faces of the pedestal the stone slab has been smoothed and outlined by a groove to bear the dedication on the front and the names on the sides.

All lettering is in sans serif capitals.

A plaque has been added to the front of the base, dedicated to later conflicts.

Lettering is in Roman capitals.
