Memorial Description:

Cross surmounting a slim, square column, total height 10 feet 2 inches x 36 inches square (3.1m x 91cms) on a square base 6 inches high x 48 inches square (15cms x 122cms) and three narrow steps.

There is a dwarf iron railing enclosing grass and flower beds.

The dedication is on the front face of the main (lower) pedestal, and the  names for 1914-18 are in two columns on the other faces.

The dates for 1914-19 are raised in half relief on the front riser of the top step.

At the base of the cross is an upper tapering pedestal.

The front face carries a laurel wreath carved in half relief with the dates 1939-1945 at centre.

The names for 1939-45 are in a single column on the other faces of the upper pedestal.

All lettering is incised and leaded, using sans serif capitals.
