Memorial Description:

Family Bible with an embossed front and brass ornamentation and clasp.

The flyleaf has been inscribed with the names of those from Bedlington Grammar School who died.

The lettering is handwritten in copperplate, with a delicate patterned border.

The names are in two columns, handwritten in black ink with the initials, title and quotation in red.

The lectern was also part of the memorial.

35 full names, of whom one was a teacher.

1. The Bible was restored by the Headmaster.

2. There is an annual Remembrance Service, attended by Sixth-formers, at which the names on this Roll are read out.
