Memorial Description

Plaque 30 inches high x 23 inches wide with plain line border. The lettering is in some cases plain sometimes elaborate, and the quotation at the bottom is in italics. The names are listed in two columns with a vertical line dividing them using Roman capitals for the dedication , sans serif for the names and italics for the quotation.

1. “The service on Remembrance Sunday morning is still one of the special services of the year, at which a wreath provided by Mrs. A. Bainbridge is laid on the memorial by an ex-service man, usually a member of the chapel. The flowers, placed on this memorial weekly, have been provided by Mrs. Bainbridge for many years.” Jubilee Souvenir Handbook
