Memorial Description

Plaque 3 feet high x 4 feet 6 inches wide. It is in three separate panels, the central one having a flattened dome at the top. There is a wide edge of brown mottled marble which also divides the three panels vertically.
The two outer panels bear mosaics of St.George and St.Alban.
The central panel of white marble has a cross at centre top with palm leaves. The names are listed in three columns. All lettering is incised and coloured, the dedication in Roman capitals, the names in lower case, and the quotation at the bottom in italics.

Materials used

White and brown mottled marble and alabaster.

Inscription

To the Glory of God / and in everlasting memory of the men of / this Parish who fell in the Great War / 1914-1918.
“In Christ shall all be made alive”.
