Memorial Description

Plaque with raised fluted edge. At centre top is a wreath raised in half relief with the dates on each side. The names are listed in three columns. All lettering is raised in casting using Times Roman capitals throughout.

Present condition

Cleaned and mounted on an English Oak board by Trevor Pennington, Stand Out Joinery

Notes

1. Cleaned and renovated at the British Gas Northern Workshops, Blaydon in 1988, where it was mounted on a mahogany block with other gas company memorials. Moved later to Northern Gas Networks, Tyneside Depot, Burradon, North Tyneside.

2. Brought back to the Teams area through the efforts of the late Frank Spalding and Bill Burton.
