Unveiled June 7th 1922 by Corporal Joseph Talantyre and dedicated by Rev. T. Wallace, Vicar of St. Mark's, Jarrow.

Memorial Description

Plaque 36 inches high x 48 inches wide x of classical design, with carved decoration along the top and down the sides, including a cross at top right and left. The dedication is in the top central raised panel. The quotation is along the bottom of the main central slab underneath the names, which are listed in four columns. Lettering is in Roman capitals and the names in sans serif capitals.
