Plaque, with centre part raised. There is a raised border. The names are listed in two columns. Lettering is raised and burnished using Roman lettering throughout.

Materials used

Bronze.

Inscription

In Honoured Memory / of those of the firm of Sir S.A. Sadler Ltd. who laid down their lives / in defence of King and County during the Great War 1914-1918.

Notes

1. The firm seems to have done a lot for its staff, including its own school.

2. After bombing of Memorial Hall, this was removed to a house wall, to its present site in a small garden.
