Plaque 35 inches (889mm) high x 23 inches (584mm) wide, one of a matching pair,. There is a plain raised border one inch wide. The lettering is in raised Roman capitals.

Notes
1. This was the former Presbyterian Church until 1972, when it became the United Reformed Church.
2. The church was aligned west-east, so that the pulpit is at the west end. The memorials are placed at west end of church, on either side of the arch to the "chancel", near the pulpit.
3. In September 2000 Gosforth URC, Woodbine Rd. Methodist Church and West Avenue Methodist Churches united to form Trinity Church, Gosforth, a Methodist / URC Local Ecumenical Partnership.
