Unveiled Feb. 12th 1922 by Mr. George Stephenson, dedicated by Rev. E.Marshall.

Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, with dome at centre top. There is a border pattern of stylized flowers raised against a black background. In the dome at centre top is a laurel wreath, coloured bronze, with the dates "1914" and "1918" on either side. The names are listed in two columns. The words "To the glory of God" are in Gothic script, the rest of the dedication and names are in elongated Roman capitals.

Notes

1. The Methodist Church of Salters Road and West Avenue united in 1951 to form one society. The United Church met in the Salters Road premises for 2 years before moving into the altered West Avenue premises in 1953. The Salters Road premises were demolished c.2000.
