Memorial Description
Triptych, copper covered, 1.06m high x 940mm wide when open.
Glass covered picture in centre, entitled "Remembrance", showing a young lady near a gravestone, with foliage round her feet. At the top, and behind her head, is painted a tablet with a general dedication painted on. This was a well-known and much used painting.
The inscriptions on insides of both doors are hand-painted in a mixture of styles, Old English capitals and italics, in gilt with black shadowing. There are laurel wreaths in the gable top, and on the outsides of the doors.

Present condition
The central painting is eaten up with damp, covered with white blotches, making it difficult to see the actual subject detail of the picture.
