Memorial Description
Plaque in wide wood frame 38½ inches wide x 17¼ inches high x ¾ inch deep (98cm x 43cm x 2.4cm). On each side is a depiction of Britannia with a lion, in half relief, both facing the centre.
The words “Newbrough and Warden” are painted in the top border. The words “The Great War” are below this. Flowing across this is a scroll in half relief bearing the words “Roll of Honour”.
The centre panel has a moulded edge. Inside this are the names painted in three columns using sans serif capitals.
The quotation is in the bottom border.
