Memorial Description

Roll of Honour. The frame has a classical shape with fluted pillars at the sides. There is a dome at centre top in which is set a badge of the National Reserve Club..
The dedication is on the main plaque which is of popular design. There is a border of string design culminating in roundels in the corners.
The names of the fallen are in a box at the top. The names of those who served are in five columns.
Lettering is mainly in sans serif capitals with the exception of some of the wording in the title. Most lettering is black with the words “Roll of Honour”, “Fallen” and “Served” in red.
The name of the Chairman of the club appears below the border at the bottom.
On the frame below is an additional brass plaque bearing more names.
Below this is another plaque which gives the details of the making of the frame.
