In Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux is the Commonwealth War Grave of 149480 Gunner Mark Tait, serving with the Royal Field Artillery who died 23/03/1918.

Julie Famelton has provided the following:

>He was born Colt Park in 1896. In the 1911 census he lived at Ritton with his father, a forester, and brothers John and William who may also be listed on the memorial in Netherwitton village. Mark Tait was killed on 23rd March 1918 in the Battle of St Quentin, part of the German spring offensive.

Mark Tait is remembered in Netherwitton on N6.01 and N6.03
