NETHERWITTON, St. Giles Church.
This tablet is erected to the Glory of God and in loving memory of
all those, both men and women who patriotically assisted by joining
the colours to prosecute the Great War to a successful issue and also to the
sacred, proud and undying memory of the following both of the regular, new
and territorial army who gallantly and nobly responded to their country's
call in the hour of need and made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War of 1914-18.
