In London Cemetery, Neuville-Vitasse in France is the Commonwealth War Grave of 235570 Private Colin Sawyers Daverson serving with the 9th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 26/12/1917.

In North Gosforth Joint Burial Ground is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
James
the beloved husband of
Elizabeth Daverson
who died Sept. 4th 1926
aged 64 years.
Also their son
Pte. Colin Sawyers
9th Bn. Northd. Fusiliers
who was killed in action in
France Dec. 26th 1917
aged 21 years.
Also the above
Elizabeth Daverson
died July 7th 1946
aged 82 years.
