Robinson, E., A/Smn., 1915
In Ari Burnu Cemetery, Anzac is the Commonwealth War Grave of KX/335 Able Seaman Ernest Lawrence Robinson, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 04/05/1915.

Colin Boyd has provided the following:

Ernest was born on 11th May 1884. He was working as a miner living with his wife, Mary at 1, Chirton Road, North Shields when he enlisted in the Northumberland Fusiliers on 2nd September 1914.

He transferred to the RNVR on 9th September 1914 and joined the Howe Battalion on the same day. Ernest was killed in action in Gallipoli on 4th May 1915.
