Roll of Honour. Across the top is a scroll bearing the exhortion, Down the sides and along the bottom is a border of oak leaves interspersed with the “whole armour of God” : the Helmet of Salvation; the Breastplate of Righteousness; the Sword of the Spirit; the Shield of Truth.(Ephesians 6 v 10-17)
The names are listed in three columns, hand written in capitals. Two of the names have crosses beside them.

Notes

1. The Presbyterian Churches all combined to become the St.Columba’s United Reformed Church in 1949 and the building was sold. The Howard Street building is now the Salvation Army Citadel.
