In Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 849 CorporalC. Inglis serving with the 4th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers who died 14/02/1916.

In Falstone Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

loving memory of
Hector,
dearly beloved husband of
Cecilia Inglis,
died at Elmcroft, 8th May 1933,
aged 73 years.
Also his beloved wifeCecilia Inglis,
died 4th Feb. 1957
aged 74 years.
Also Christopher, their son
killed in action in France
14th Feb. 1916, aged 22 years.
And Hector, their son
died on war service in Singapore
4th June 1942, aged 27 years.
Also Emily, their daughter
died in infancy.
