In Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres is the Commonwealth War Grave of 13691 Private D. Latimer, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 12/01/1915.

Carole Fife has provided the following:

David was born in 1881 in New Herrington, County Durham to John and Elizabeth Latimer. The family moved to Blyth and in 1901 David was a shifter in the coal mine. In 1903 he married Selina Burridge. In 1911 he was-living at Beecher Street, Cowpen, working as a hewer, and had two daughters Elizabeth Ann and Mary. He is buried in Cite Bonjean Cemetery in Armentieres.

He is remembered in Bedlington Station on B163.04 and in Bedlington on B15.06
