In St. Barnabas Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:-

loving memory

Jane
beloved wife of
Ralph Elliott
of New Lambton
who departed this life Dec. 25th 1907
aged 50 years
also the above Ralph
who died Aug. 29th 1937
aged 84 years
also their daughter
Margaret Jane
who died Jan. 1st 1921
aged 40 years
also their son George
killed in action in France
June 15th 1915
aged 33 years
