Brown, R., Pte., 1917
In Peronne Communal extension is the Commonwealth War Grave of Robert Brown, serving with the 9th Glasgow Highlanders, who died 30/01/1917.

His name is included in a booklet on the names on the Wolsingham Cenotaph compiled by Morris Ward, which adds that his last know occupation was as a Painter.

He is remembered in Wolsingham on W128.02 and W128.05
