Armstrong, W., Pte., 1916
In Armara War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 11211 Private William Armstrong, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 15/09/1916.

Soldiers Died in the Great War states that he was born and lived in Tow Law, and enlisted in Newcastle.

William Armstrong is remembered in Tow Law on T57.01 (where his rank is given as Sergeant) and T57.03 and in the D.L.I. Book of Remembrance page 244.
