In Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, France is the Commonwealth War Grave of 39164 Private Isaac Lowery, serving with the 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment who died 04/08/1917.

The son of W. Lowery, of Gowland Square, Wrekenton, Gateshead on Tyne.

John Taylor and Ann Norman have submitted the following:

Isaac Lowery was born about 1886, the son of William and Hannah Lowery. In 1911 they lived in Gowland Square, Wrekenton, and Isaac was employed as a coal miner.

He served as a Private with 7th Battalion, Alexandra Princess of Wales Own Yorkshire Hussars, regimental number 39164. He died of his wounds on the Western Front on 4th August 1917. He is buried in plot: VI. B. 12, Duisans British Cemetery in Duisans, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
