In loving memory
of my dear son

The son of Mrs. A. Smith (formerly Lockey), of Madhope Street, Wolsingham, and the late H. W. Lockey. He was born at Wolsingham.

His pension cards state his death was due to a gun shot wound to the spine.

He is included in a booklet on the names on the Wolsingham Cenotaph compiled by Morris Ward, which also states that his last known occupation was as Labourer in Wolsingham Steelworks.

Henry Waterloo Lockey is remembered at Wolsingham on W128.01, W128.02 and W128.05
