Memorial Description:

Plaque. 24 inches high x 16 inches wide (610mm x 410mm).

There is a single line border.

The first line of the dedication forms an arc in elaborate capitals, the rest is in Roman capitals.

The names are listed in a single column using sans serif capitals, those from the Royal Navy first, followed by the Army, followed by the Mercantile Marine.

They are listed in the order in which they died.

The quotation at the bottom is in Old English.
