in token of deep and great appreciation of the
young men of this church and Sunday School
who served in the Great War 1914-1918
and in loving memory of
those of their number below mentioned
who made the supreme sacrifice.

Notes:

1. A brass plaque tells the story of the beginnings of the church:
To the Glory of God
The first Glebe Church was built in the year 1823
and rebuilt in 1865.
The present Glebe Church and Schools were erected 1889
and the classrooms added in 1904.
Hitherto hath the Lord Helped us.

2. The classrooms were later sold to pay for the 1997 redecoration.
